Lean and Green
Lean & Green is the leading CO2 reduction program in which both shippers and companies working within logistics can participate. The program aims to structurally reduce CO2 emissions in logistics by activating collaborations, sharing knowledge, and implementing smart and effective measures.
In 2013, we won the Lean and Green Logistics Award, and two years later, we received the 1st STAR. Since 2017, we have continued to take CO2-saving measures through analysis because measuring is knowing and improving! And we are fully committed to achieving the 2nd STAR!
Big Mile
Big Mile is a program that helps with a complete CO2 measurement by analyzing transported units, per customer and per modality. Big Mile is a data analysis tool where you can measure CO2 calculations and allocations based on the EN16258 standard and also provides the opportunity to make further analyses of potential savings. This allows us to identify where we can further improve our CO2 footprint.
Ecovadis
The EcoVadis monitoring system provides a clear, comprehensive, and effective way of understanding and managing CSR practices. The Ecovadis assessment is based on 4 areas: Environment, Society, Ethics, and Supply Chain. This is done by providing evidence, so not just saying you do something, but also proving that you do it!

SQAS
Safety and Quality Assessment Systems (SQAS) is an assessment system developed to assess whether the logistics service provider meets the requirements regarding organization, quality, safety, and environment, especially in the petrochemical industry.
ISO 9001
ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems. ISO 9001 can be used to assess whether the organization is capable of meeting customer requirements. Again, it is crucial to say what you do, do what you say, and prove it! A.C. Rijnberg Transport has held this standard since 1997.
