Warehouse
In addition to road transport, Rijnberg Transport also offers various storage options. We have a total of 23,000 square meters of storage facilities, the majority of which are leased on a long-term basis.
At our location on the Koegorsstraat, we have 2 warehouses with a total of 5,000 square meters. These warehouses are equipped with 8 loading docks, a canopy for loading or unloading from the side, and the ability to load or unload trucks or containers inside, which we mainly do for contamination-sensitive cargo.
Crossdocking
We combine shipments from the Netherlands and Belgium at our cross-dock for groupage transport to France and Germany on a daily basis. Our logistics team, with years of experience, carefully load and unload your cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring no damage occurs.
Storage of pallets or bulk goods
A.C. Rijnberg Transport offers complete inventory management services for storage of pallets and bulk goods. We have a warehouse dedicated to pallets, which is equipped with racks that provide each pallet with a designated location. By assigning a barcode to each pallet or utilizing the existing barcodes, our Warehouse Management System can easily track and locate every pallet. This system allows us to have real-time access to the number of pallets in stock, and their location can be traced through the linkage with the rack location codes. Our management system is supported by Microsoft 3PL-Dynamics.
Moreover, we have a separate warehouse dedicated to bulk goods. Large items can be stored on the floor in sections, and when possible, we stack them up to approximately 10 meters high. We also assign a code to each bulk item and link it to its location in our bulk warehouse. Thus, A.C. Rijnberg Transport can provide complete inventory management services for your goods.
Our warehouse staff has access to various equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, roller trucks, and electric pallet jacks, to handle your goods with utmost care.

Highbay warehouse
In November 2022, our Highbay Warehouse, also known as a high-rise warehouse, was put into operation on our premises, specifically constructed for packaging manufacturer Elopak Netherlands. This warehouse will store 480 million packages in total.
A high-rise warehouse is a tall storage facility fully equipped with racks, allowing for the storage of large quantities of items simultaneously. The aisles are narrow and tall, and the pallets are stored and retrieved by Storage and Retrieval machines, making the warehouse completely automated. This warehouse measures 110 meters in length, 52 meters in width, and 25 meters in height.
With the implementation of this Highbay Warehouse, transport movements to various storage facilities are reduced, which contributes to increased efficiency and sustainability.
