Boris, International Driver, employed since 01-01-2019:
First and foremost, I really enjoy working at Rijnberg! This is mainly due to the loyalty, communication, and clarity of all the employees I deal with. Whenever I have a trip, it's always clear what is expected of me, and if it's not entirely clear, it's never difficult to find a solution together.
There is always room for extracurricular activities or other matters, and it's easy and uncomplicated to ask a question. In short, it's a very open corporate culture.
The versatility of the job keeps it interesting and never monotonous. The driver is always considered. This represents quality to me.
Communication is good between the customer and the driver. This is important because the driver is always in the middle, and it must be clear to him what is expected to serve the customer as best as possible. After all, this is what it's all about.
I find it a great advantage that Rijnberg is still a truly traditional family business. This makes the lines short. However, I do not think there is too much hierarchy. There is equality, but also clarity about who should make the final decisions. This is necessary to maintain structure. I think communication with management is easy, and I find that very important.
For me, Rijnberg is an open and transparent company where you can easily communicate with everyone, both employees and customers. This can only happen when everyone thinks in the same direction. Namely, working together in a customer-oriented manner for the same goal, the continuity and growth of the company.
Achieving long-term cooperation with everyone, both employees and customers. This can only happen if you are honest and clear and follow through on your promises and tasks.
I think Rijnberg has that well taken care of. After all, the company is not afraid to take risks and think ahead. The great example is the investments in the new warehouse and the cooperation with Elopak.
